Each rug is knotted or woven by hand by skilled artisans in Nepal, is made from 100% natural materials, and is dyed and washed without using harmful chemicals.

The material is Himalayan Nettle, a strong and durable wild nettle that is found primarily only in Nepal. Himalayan Nettle is considered to be the most durable of natural fibers and villagers in Nepal use it to make rope for hunting for honey and to produce fishing nets. It is also said to have medicinal properties. The material is highly durable and is easily cleaned with water.

If you care for it properly, an authentic ÄNG rug will last a lifetime.

Delivery

All rugs are knotted by hand in Nepal and can also be made to measure. Accordingly, allow for 8-16 weeks from placing your order until the rug enriches your home.
